Second Netflix Show for sV with Executive Producer Titi Ogufere.

Film | After the success of the Netflix Made By Design series, sV has unified again with Nigerian Executive Producer Titi Ogufere on her documentary celebrating the life and work of Nike Davies-Okundaye.

sV’s screenplay The Queen of Adire is a weave of ideas, colours and cloth. It has to be because Nike’s designs are so dense with patterns and suggestive symbols. The first impression is variety, tradition and impeccable execution but in a sense, there is too much. Clearly, there’s a lot more here than the capacity to notice details, there is also the capacity to see beauty in a pattern. Filming started in 2024 and the documentary premièred at the African Film Festival (AFRIFF). You can view the trailer here.
